Poetry

On Crimson

O’ Kermes-kissed fabric
In ancient halls draped
Wrapping bodies noble
And crusaders, caped.
O’ color blinding in the day
Nightly blending with the gray.

O’ blaze ne’er soft nor wispy
Promising eyes full delight
Laying o’er elegant divan
Hanging behind arena’d fight.
O’ hue emboldened high
Fluttering frenzied in the sky.
